blackburn 6 - west bank swans u16s -26

this was always going to be a potential banana skin being the first game in 6 weeks and following the christmas break but all the lads that travelled performed well and refused to be drawn into the Blackburn gameplan and on occasion showed some excellant freeflowing rugby , the Swan need to kick on from this now and continue the second half of the season with the confidence they have shown in the first. Many thanks to the massed throngs of travelling support it is really appreciated as is the half time soup, even the ref got one today.

Hey mac, it's Clarky, the twenty minutes that I watched there was some really good handling and the 2 tries that I seen were excellent. Looks like I am missing out on some good rugby.

SWANS 12 - ECCLES & SALFORD 4.

In the toughest game of the season so far the Swans faced table toppers Eccles and Salford but from the off it was clear the Swan wanted the points ,to a man the defence and attack was outstanding ,with both sides giving there all with neither giving the other anything it was nip and tuck till the final play of the game, with the score at 6-4, and Eccles having the 10 metre scrum it was all hands to the pump but an outstanding piece of individualism by way of an interception and length of the field score the Swan secured the points. Well done to both sides and thanks to the support who never fail to back the lads.If we could afford it we'd give you the eighteenth jersy.
