cheers dave, these are a fantastic set of lads and parents and I have enjoyed coaching them this year,The support shown by the Swans commitee ,the snig and the open age is second to none and I am sure that they will move onwards and upwards next season and will be a massive boost to the open age over the next couple of years, as you know I have another project in the pipeline for next season I'm just waiting on the nod and I can set the wheels in motion. Grin

Well done Mac the u16s have come a long way in a short time, and its good to see them atending and backing each other up at games...I remember the first training for the open age and the u16s when some  of the open age players said to me what are they (the u16s) doing drinking our water..  Shocked   we have come a long way now and all the players know we are one team...upwards and onwards.

folly lane 12 - swans 10

the result of the game pales into insignificance with the effort shown by both these teams, in a game that could have gone either way all 34 players are to be commended for there efforts and there discipline, physically it was a bruising encounter and i'm sure there will be one or two aching limbs today, The Swans took yet another step forward yesterday and with each game are growing into a very handy unit and the hard work this year will show significally next season, what bodes well is the fact that the numbers are still increasing with the coaches having 21 players to choose from yesterday and more to return from injury next week.
Thanks go to Folly Lane and there spectators who's hospitality was fantastic and a credit to there club, we look forward to the return fixture within the coming weeks.
