Only thing about Widnes is Speakman. No mention of the scrum half.

I hope we have, would make the world of difference to our backline. For Gravy to get all those tries in the year we went down (and were dam right awful!) was a credit to him, and playing in this league he'd score alot of tries.

Does that sadler want to sell more papers in other areas maybe?Other week praising how professional we are now celtic before us with no fans, stadium and no decent academies. They got no derbies where they attract good away support either. We play warrington, saints, wigan could potentially get over 10000 fans.So come on rfl open your eyes and let widnes in.Why wakefield better than us?If we where with this management in sl in their postion we get bigger crowds than them.

The League Weekly has just 2 items - the signing of Speakman, and the release of Academy Scrum Half Craig Tunstad to Blackpool Panthers.
There is more news about Wigan St Judes than there is about Widnes.
Considering we have a full time commercial manager who is responsible for the profile of Widnes, its very disappointing.

Beano, what do you want the club to say? if they say who we are speaking to and it falls through, the club will look foolish. and they don't reveal anything, they get people like you saying how disappointing it is. They can't win.

have you not been round widnes, theyve been advertising the wigan game widespread, including posters all over shops, schools, newspapers and sports places
its about getting OUR town behind us, not what people who read the newspapers have to say about us

I'm not asking the club to name people they would like to sign, but I expected some decent newspaper coverage.
There is no mention of the game against Wigan.
There is no mention of the open day on Saturday
Just how is this geezer going to improve the Widnes profile if he doesn't speak to the media.
We need to be pushing Widnes at every opportunity.
and Yes, I was in the town centre today, and saw absolutely nothing about the game.

He would be a decent centre signing.

Absolutely agree, he was one of our best players in our last season in SL. IMO.
I`m sure he`ll do a great job for us.
