It's never been scheduled for Bloomfield Rd... but if you're bringing the Drum, then feel free to take it there The game is being played at Fylde RU's ground.

Yes it was scheduled for fylde RU club (which I asked a guy who i work with who is a blackpool town season ticket holder and lives in cleveleys he hasnt heard of it?) and was published as such on the National League website, but I am sure when the fixtures were announced that bloomfield road was mentioned in the express and our website?

Blackpool Panthers now play their home games at Fylde RUFC, and they did so last season too.
They had a lease on Bloomfield Road for their first two seasons (2005 and 2006), but werent getting many fans in, so downgraded to a smaller (and cheaper) stadium.
Fylde RUFC holds about 10,000 and is a tidy little ground.

It is only a small ground but has a very impressive club house.....;-)

from the Fylde RUFC Website
Stadium Capacity: 5,450 (450 seated, 5,000 standing)
Although I really can't see where they would stand 5000 people!! Having been to the place, and it is a nice little club, it will be very crowded it that many turn up !

i just can't understand that they don't play it at a proper ground, i no they shouldn't make exceptions for us but when we play swinton in the NRC in our first year in this division although it was a nice club house etc. its hardly good enough for professionals or if we take more than 600 which we will do we would surround the pitch....as unless they have built a new stand its like pieces of wood stuck together not alot better than the wids apart from the club house imo

i work in Lytham and pass the ground every day on way to work... the ground is on the road between st annes and lytham around half a mile from the main bit of lytham the road runs parallel to the sea front road.
