Not long til the McGovern to Widnes rumours start up again then eh Tongue

That result certainly sets down a marker for the rest of Swinton's season!

Me and my little lad travelled up there last night to a biting cold boundry park (well it was either that or coranation street with the wife again Smiley ). It was a very enjoyable game throughout, like a good old fashioned cup tie.
The game certainly changed when McGovern came on to the field he was outstanding along with a one of our old players Bruce Johnson and the winger Marlon Billy also played out of his skn. Best team lost im afraid spelly but very good entertaiment, Well done Swinton.

Doncaster 32 - 10 Skolars

Oldham 22 - 20 Swinton

Sheffield 12 - 22 Celtic

Celtic's result not that impressive - not like the beating we handed out over at Sheffield on a Friday night last season. Mark Aston said he's treating the NRC group as pre-season friendlies, so this was the Eagles' first game.

Doncaster's score not that great either. Skolars had much of their first team missing as a lot of their players couldn't take the day off for a Friday night game.

Will the OLdham/Swinton game be on Channel M?
