 ------------ in League Express is.............

Gateshead, for their win at York.

As someone who predicted they'd (again) be the ones to struggle, along with the Panthers this season, I hold my my hands up and say - Well done Thunder!

How did Blackpool play against you mob by the way?

Spelly.

They were by no means disgraced Spelly. Dug deep and got amongst us in the 2nd half and prevented us running up a bigger score.

I believe they had a few missing aswell so even more credit to them.

On the downside I would say they rarely troubled our defence and apart from Hardman's error wouldn't have scored, and some of their discipline left a bit to be desired (went a bit high on numerous occasions).

I told you in a thread a few weeks ago Spelly that Gateshead would cause some upsets this season, and are my tip for the NL2 play-offs. It's only one game, but they are headed in the right direction! Wink

Yep - I remember mate!

Top win at York for 'em. Hope they do well, but I'll settle for 'em losing home and away to my mob!
