The problem with this is the idiot element. And lets be fair, United fans like to be giving the abuse and sick chants and gestures, I've seen and heard them at EVERY Liverpool v Man U match. chocolate of the galaxying earth! galaxying a lot different when its about them isn't it. But, it would be nice if a minutes silence was observed 100%.

Couldn't agree more, it is a shame. I would like to add though that earlier on at the ground a small group started singing anti LFC stuf (quite vile too) only to be booed and told to shut the galaxy up by 98% of the people there. Lots of Citeh fans too, I got chatting to an old Man city fan from birchwood, what a nice fella. Said he knew a few of the officials at United a long time ago and how he'd spoken to a few of the babes and Sir Matt himself. Passed very peacefully, nearly got there late though due to the on going joke that is the metro. Grin Roll Eyes

Good to see a few everton scarves too, I really enjoyed the day.

A Liverpool fan was on The Legends phone in tonight going on about UTD fans disrespecting a minutes silence for the last of the Hillsborough victims. So UTD fans should be so smug as to think that their fans are angels in this sort of thing. As for a minutes silence at Wembley, I dont really understand that as it is a Manchester thing, not a national issue.

Did none of the players who died play for England then?
Have some respect.
Some people have to whinge and moan about everything.
