Have Westwood and Briers changed bodies??
Lee Briers looked very lean whilst the other guy had a proper little paunch. Cullen has said that they are fitter than ever.

Hull deserved another try, did very well and are clearly confident of a good season.
Mixed feelings about Wire, not for obvious reasons! They have probably assembled one of the most talented groups of players ever to pull on a Warrington shirt, but they need to play together! There were visible 'small' pockets of teamwork, but not all on the same wavelength...perhaps in a few games??
Of all the things on show tonight, in what was a good match for biased neutrals, was the fact that Warrington played the second half like the losing team. We saw silly penalties, Briers shouting it off at the ref and generally poor positional discipline. Now perhaps they will say they eased off....but personaly I think Eddie Hemmings has already killed them off by saying that they aim to win the league!
Saints next week - I expect tantrums and fireworks!

No it didnt--but a good win nevertheless and it gets Cullen off to a winning start which he needs as he must be a favourite for the chop if things go wrong.

Major problems with Hull fans after the game at Wire last night. Some things never change.

Acording to RLFans Hull actually brought a firm that follows Hull City FC.
Bloody
chocolate-bags
.
Wi*e can be as bad though, I have always found FC fans to be OK in honesty, in wetherspoons in in widnes a few years ago before a game they were a real laugh. I tend to find their east of the river neighbours more intimidating. Stone island here, burberry there. But there are fools who follow all sides, and funnily enough Widnes. Anybody who was in warrington town centre near wetherspoons on good friday in 2004 will vouch for that. Idiots.

I heard today from a Wire fan that the trouble was a little bigger than I for one first thought.
Upwards of 50 people involved with running battles taking place at the back gate area of the HJ then spreading to the Tesco car park. I am also told that a group of Hull fans were identified as being involved and found to be in the Lord Rodney, apparently the doors were locked and they were forced by police to remain until local fans had gone home.
Another franchise point deducted!!
