Christopher Irvine talks about the NL1 clubs applying for licences and the difficult decisions ahead for the RFL!

Well, I thought this piece was very well written, although short it was very much to the point, and it was heartening to see it under such a national institution.
I also like the fact he didn't go all speculative but kept to the facts.

Well seen, as the Franchise is the most talked about thing just lately, I am doing a presentation on it for my English Coursework.

I need to include:
How the league is now.
What the benefits will be.
What the disadvantages will be.
Why I am for or against it happening.

Would anyone like to help?  Cheesy Grin Cheesy

One classy way to get your coursework done!!   Cheesy

Pick a topic that you know we will all be extremely interested in, post it on here and then sit back and wait with your pencil sharpened and your notepad in hand!!   Cheesy

oh, I loved English!  It was all about escapism in my mind, and the grammar was easy because it was what my parents expected of me.  But that was probably before you were born (unless you are a mature student!!)

Spelling is easy - the word just doesn't look right if it isn't right!

Good luck with your studies.  Now get to work on 4 individual threads to get your points out and debated by the board users!!!   Wink Wink

It might be the easiest but that doesn't make it the best.  You might want to consider the quality of the writing on this board before you think you've got a good mark on the cards.   Wink

English is a beautiful language and worth reading for its own sake. I agree spelling is easy --  you are right about the appearance of a word. A well presented presentation will set you on your way.
