Trouble at moorfield?

Drove past the moorfield today and saw a bit of trouble coming out of the club and then a bit later 3 police cars at the car park on moorfield rd. Been told it spread from the kids rugby? Anyone spread any light on this?

It was from the U'15's between Moorfield and West Bank. A excellent local derby, which ended 14 all,was spoiled by some plank, who after insulting a West Bank player with some foul and obscene abusive language, started flashing his
warrant card
to anyone who challenged him. Thankfully he was carted off to the local nick. One word-IDIOT. I know after many great games against Moorfield, these actions were by one idiot, and not Moorfield as a club.

it was not actually him that offend a child it was another spectator believed to be neutral and it should of been 14-12 but after west bank side argueing with the referee he gave up and gave them a kick which they converted to equalise
like you said it was one idiot not moorfield as a club

all these comments are great but mostly rubbish the individual in question did say something to a player which was nt abusive because he was unhappy with the bully boy tactics from the west bank team.
and the fact that the trouble was inflamed by west bank suporters who came on the field accusing one of the coaches of this comment and got it totally wrong..smart eh
also the person who was so called flashing his warrant card was threatened by the bank supporters and that is why he attemped to arrest one of them for grabbing hold of him ,so if your going to throw dirt lets get the series of events right !
also one bank player headbutted the moorfield no6 because he did like being tackled ,bad mistake as he found out
and the no 6 moorfield player who had a brilliant game and pretty much took on bank himself was taken out after he had passed the ball by to bank players because they had been asked by their sideline ....... pathetic because moorfield had the better of them!

Bully boy tactics? You mean the trouble started when West Bank scored??
The guy with his warrant card wasnt threatened by anybody from West Bank, hopefully the law will deal with him properly.
All the trouble started with a Moorfields coach, after shouting his mouth off on the pitch (which the referee should of sent him off for) started again when West Bank scored, knowing that they hadnt beaten West Bank.
Your right about your number 6,great player and certainly ran the show on sunday, but he should of been sent off for butting the West Bank player who retaliated by headbutting, not because he didnt like being tackled.
You really need to get your facts right.

Goose, you are foolish to even reply to this thread because it is obvious people are out to cause trouble and obviously Rugby buff has started this thread for one reason only and Sideshow bob took the bait.
We are still talking about kids here and there are always over exited dads/mums who play there rugby through their kids and can cause murder in the process. I will say with West Banks reputation, this doesnt do them any favours! Its not only the open age, but other younger age groups from West Bank that are getting a reputation throughout the rugby circuit.
West bank have club mark and surely they should have a child protection officer that deals with this sort of things. I am not just having a go at Westbank, but i would certainly be more worried about the welfare of children and concentrate on this rather than having a full on argument about whos right or wrong. There are always 2 sides to every story and everyone is biased towards their own, but sometimes you have to admit wrong doing.
Even if West Bank are inocent ( which i very much doubt )in all this, your reputation will do you no favours with this matter.
If i were you Goose i would not give this thread anymore of your time because it obvious some clown is trying to cause trouble.

Rugby buff asked a question and i answered it. This clown is not trying to cause any trouble at all, seems everybody has it in for West Bank. If people read the thread, a great local derby was spoilt by someone on the Moorfield side, nobody can argue with the facts. I will not be saying anymore on this thread,as you say its kids rugby at the end of the day. By the way i am not the coach, and as said earlier i wasnt having a go at Moorfield as a club.

Fezant, never started the thread to cause any trouble, just asked what had happened because I was told it came from a kids rugby match I for one who has played the game from a young age don't like to think of any young players game going down the pan because of a few mindless mums and dads that play it through their kids. May be they should stop going to watch if they don't like their kids to get beat or hurt
As for slideshow taking the bait what are you doing posting on this tread then.
Asked a question and got an answer so I never posted any other comments it had nothing to do with me.
So who's the CLOWN now
