Deary me. Does look forward from that angle.

Hartley should have kicked the goal for our second try in truth.

Fair enough but I've seen Jiffy miss them from similar positions when he was playing for us.

The pass does look a mile forward . What stood out for me is 2 of the 3 tries from Salford came on our left side , we miss Nooney defending out there.

Well I was expecting to see a borderline forward pass but it's well beyond that isn't it.

Unbelievable that that wasn't given as forward by the ref. TJ no chance of giving it as never in line with the play, how he is out of position is hard to believe as they only played the ball 10 metres out not as if they had made a 70 mtr break!!

Sloppy tackling for their 3rd try too and goal from Hill's try missed, a game we should have won. It appears we lost/drew rather than Salford beating us. Gives us good hope for furture games to come IMO, iron out the slack tackling and Hartley being more consistent should improve things, not that we are doing too badly at the mo.  Wink

Especially as we were pulled up for three forward passes or was it four?

I hate to be picky, but Tim Hartley not for the first time this season looked very weak in the tackle. GM was correct with his view on the Salford try, from a defo forward pass.

Hartley was at least partly responsible for 2 of the Salford tries. A good footballer and kicker but needs to work on his defence. On the plus side, how good does the run and offload from Gallagher look? Our most improved player in recent weeks.
