He wasn't awarded a knighthood or a gong or whatever you want to call it. He was born a baronet, which entitles him to be called 'sir'. A baronetcy is in between a peerage (ie Lord somebody) and a knighthood in terms of rank in this daft stuff.

Oswald Mosley carried on with the fascist stuff after the war and Max Mosley of F1 fame was heavily involved in it - he was a parliamentary candidate for his dad's party in the early sixties. It only really died out when the national front was formed.

Random question it was but cheers for the answer, I thought that would have been the answer and not that he would have been gonged for his services to politics.

Going off the subject slighly the Kray twins started their National Service at the Tower of London joining the Royal Fuseliers untill they did a runner.

There's another thing, how the galaxy can these pair be classed as heroes? They were just a pair of murderers and have been hailed for their notoriety. Rot I say.
