Great player and was at Widnes recently when he led the Hull team out in the cup match.  Thanks for the memories R.I.P.

I can only echo what's already been said.

Sad day for our game.

RIP David.

This one is hard to believe and hard to take. The bloke always looked after himself and didn't carry any weight. Was sheer class as a RL player and always carried himself well.

On a night when some bloke kills himself and his kids this one is pretty hard to take.

Very sad news indeed.

Remember well the time he won the Lance Todd trophy playing for Wakefield even though on the losing side.

I dont normally reply to these type of things as i never Know what to say.

After listening to him speak at the the widnes hull game. How he nearly signed for widnes. What a great man had time for all the widnes fans on the day. Very sad another great gone to the big game in the sky

Very sad. He was a great Stand Off and he did us in the CC replay at Elland Rd. I think he captained Hull that day and won the MOM.

RIP

A great playmaker and a stand off in the great British tradition. I used to see him quite frequently businesswise after he retired, when I was involved in British Steel Tubes at Stourrton.

RIP David.
