I might be slightly out with the score, but the Tigers went down to the Newton Storm by about 22 - 16

Moorfield won about 20-4. Oldham never got a single try.

Swans defeated 18-16 away at Portico in a mud bath.

I know everyone will jump at me, but take it from me, the ref (from Widnes) dissallowed a last miniute conversion that robbed the lads of a point. I was carrying the flag behind the goals and the ball flew over, the lad from Portico didn't but his flag up (surprise surprise) and then the ref says on a split decision he makes the call. His call from 20 yards away was a travesty. What made me laugh was it wasn't really a split decision, the young flag carrier from Portico just froze due to the pressure from their supporters and didn't have the guts to put up the flag.

Devastated for the lads who played tremendous against possibly the biggest side on the planet !! A draw would have been a fair result. The pitch was a mud bath and their enormous pack used their size well. Good outfit although I think they would struggle on a dry pitch against a mobile team.

Well done Moorfield, excellent result. Bringing Paul in to help coach is a materstroke in my opinion.

Simms X 62 vs 12 Rylands

Hatrick for Leon on his league debut. Some fantastic rugby by Simmies and some of the tries were brilliant to watch. the lads not getting to carried away as Rylands were poor but it's a start and they can only play whats in front of them. Also Gary Middlehurst returned from his Injury and had a fantastic game. Jamie Durbin played very well and had a hand in a few tries, also given MOM by sponsors. But all in all a great team performance.

Mr X - Don't worry I am not stupid enough to take the bait you constantly dangle.
