Great win for the Albert today. Really showed the spirit and 100% commitment we have been noted for over the last few years. Moorfield turned up very confident having had a superb start to the season, but we really never let them in to their stride. They come back in to it well in the 2nd half, but we had built up enough of a lead not to let it slip.
Was a good game in tough conditions and all credit to the Moorfield lads who recognised the best team won on the day.

All the best to Moorfield in the Semi final next week.

Regards

DLM

We were definately beaten by the better side and we got what we deserved.I think some of our lads were guilty of thinking that the game was already won which is a terrible attitude to have. You played very well to the conditions and i would give your coaches a massive wrap as i thought your gameplan was superb. You kicked us to death and forced alot of errors, your in goal areas are the biggest i have ever seen which shows you use your kicking game, and we badly lacked one.I only saw the second half but i think youll finish in the top 3 this season and surprise alot of teams.
We badly need to turn it around now,and its how you react to losses like this that is important. To have a go at lads for not staying behind is fairly pathetic. If lads choose to go home to their kids etc after the game then thats their choice, not a lack of respect in the slightest. What does show a lack of respect is ridiculing our warm up and match preparation.Hopefully we will be better for this defeat and i personally cant wait.I wish it was tomorrow.Good luck til we meet again and once again very well done today. You played us off the park.

any1 know why portico thatto was abandoned? People will be thinking brawl but for those who have played at portico, maybe it was waterlogged?
Still can't believe we (swans) haven't won yet, we seem to be up to speed but aren't having any luck, losing is a hard habit to break! Also maries a still looking for a win, suprising.
Good result for albert but they are a good side on their own patch!
Games being given away in prem? Sad state of affairs! Good results for tigers and bears! How many u get leppo?!
