Turning attention away from when we will be playing to who might be playing for us, I wonder if we can expect any further signings to be announced at the squad night.

All very quiet post World Cup and it may be that the squad is the squad, (which is pretty decent to be fair), but that experienced yard making prop, or ball handling loose forward would be very welcome.  Cant believe our senior team, over there in Oz, didn't run the rule over a few potential signings.

Maybe they were just enjoying the sunshine the rugby and the facilities after all.

I'm not sure, the lack of noise since the world cup is worrying but you know what Steve O'Connor is like, never one to let an opportunity to add to the drama slip through his fingers. He may just be waiting for the squad night to spring a few surprises on us.

Then again he might not, the squad is announced, kits displayed, people go home. You never know.

I wouldn't be too concerned anyway, the squad looks quite good and there will always be opportunity to pick up some loan players.

Agreed the squad is pretty good as is.  My guess is we will see how the season goes then use our quota place and any space under the cap to fill in any inadequacies further on in the season.
