Although a big prop would be nice I really don't think it's as essential this season as last, mainly due to the half backs we've signed. Webster and Thackeray will be able to get the ball out wide much quicker than we did last season, giving players like TKL, Varkulis, Wilboure and the wingers much more time and room to work in. IMO we will see the best of Jim Gannon this season as I think we will be playing the sort game that will suit him.

My point was more the fact of we have brought in guy's for ofloads etc in the past but as we havent played an expansive game in the recent past it aint worked basically and when teams have challenged us up front especially last year we have looked wanting.
Doran and Moriison should combat this as they like a bit of graft whereas the ones mentioned didn't. rather than watching Ganson run in half hearted turning round and lobbing the ball a few strong runs would be more appreciated and then Smithy get's more freedom around the ruck and the backs can set up for plays in the latter tackles.
Similar to what Kingf Viking is saying let the backs be backs and the forwards be forwards then when we do have offloads etc they will be a suprise rather than a forgone conclusiion like Patto's show and go on the line EVERY TIME!
