What getting the squad numbers 24 and 25?! They're hardly going to be playing in the first team week in week out. As SOC referred to, we need to be bringing our own youngsters through, and as it stands we havent got many, so they need to start being part of the first team squad NOW and not in 2/3 years time when it's too late.

Oh what a suprise Morrison a prop  Cheesy

& Gannon and 4 other props (Kavanagh, Thompson and Mullally - all 3 massive! and Ostick)

Thats 6 props. 3 of them big, Gannon not small then Morrison and Ostick more stocky.

I think rules out all this continued bleating about a big ball handling prop. Why oh Why would we want a 7th prop?

As for saying lads like Simm and Mullally shouldnt be used this year. We Constantly say that about our young lads. But the fact is they should be used if they are going to become top players. For too long we have held lads back.

the reason i asked is because we have patto at 13 and we already know he's gonna be out for a while, so i was thinking basically they're just numbers more than actuall starting positions.

looking at the list, there is only thompson and kavanagh to fill in at prop.

Too true, let them have a run, otherwise they will get to be inexperienced older players and we have then lost (and paid for) a year of development.

When the coaching staff have seen how the 13/17 perform it will the right thing to blood some of the younger players on the bench to start.
