HFH v IRB was a good game, National Cup so we knew we where going to up against it against a decent Conference side.

Especially as we had 7 cry off Fri night / Sat morn. But never mind, spangles happens.

Even old cjl got the boots out of the shed to help the lads out as we only had 15 Wink

It was 12 - 6 at half time and they ran in 3 tries in the last 10 mins, so all in all, no point in beating ourselves up about it.

If I am honest, the Maries shouldn't have too much to worry about next week as IMO Leigh Miners seconds where the better side from the last 2 home games.

I would like to add that we have finished 2008 in great spirits and are slightly cheesed off with the break as we can't wait for the 3rd Jan.

another important win for the Albert yesterday.

it see's us in top spot over the festive period, so we're happy.

judes were a good outfit and well drilled, you would never beleive their bottom 2 position from yesterdays game.

this division is unbeleivabley tight, with no clear dominator.  we've played every team bar HFH now in this league, and every team is capable of beating each other.  you definatley have to be at your best every week to succeed.

next game for the Albert is HFH away on the 3rd of jan.

roll on.
