At Wilderspool, attendance 28,184.
Half time . Score  nil nil.
Then a try by Toohey
With minutes to go McCue put a short kick through from outside the 25 yard line..
Reynolds pounced and scored with Hutton adding the goal, and then sealed the match with a drop goad just before full time.
Final Score. 7 --- 3.

Cheesy you can alwys look at it in the museum

I did see the game as an 11 year old. I just wish I had kept my season tickets as a teenager.
