Frank Whyte taught me at Warrington Road; but strange that he didn`t coach the school Rugby team.

  You have to love it when your in the museum they have the teams itinerary from the weekend , and I have to admit it brings a lump to my throat . Especially when you see the matchday itinerary  , one of the first things done was my grandad laying a wreath at the senitaf . A tradition that should be maintained in my own opinion but has fallen to the wayside I believe in recent years .

There were some great men around in those days. I was privileged to watch your grandfather play as a 4 and 5 year old. My grandad used to enthuse about him.
