Warrington bombed it big time.
Looked by far the better team in the first half.
What happened in the second half?
Not that I'm complaining  Grin

Run out of steam, but some poor calls by the ref which ended in tries.

7 tries for Saints, only 1 goal as well? Would have been a thumping if they had their kicking boots on.

Most where from on touchline tbf but still no excuse for a pro.  Really good game, wire where more powerful in the first half but ran out of steam in the second and saints showed their style.

Might be something to do with some of the squad spending too much time in the Chapel House.

Westwood looked like he was really blowing after an hour and it was his missed tackle that let in the final try

14-0 is never a winning scoreline at half time, especially against Saints!

Interestingly my dad phoned me this morning, he is a closet Wire fan (will print his address if he carries on!)

Anyway, he was saying they look a force this year and had a good first half.
I said that Saints had had a dire first half as I saw it.
I pointed out that Saints players were frustrated and losing their rag with each other, which was unusual.
He said it was because Wire shut them down.
I said the commentator made out that they played  just down the middle on purpose..
..he said they did that to avoid giving the ball to Penny!!

Not wrong there, but by the end of the game I saw genuinely saw no improvement on last year for the Wire team. I am biased, but fair to say that standing still in SL will not move them up the table!

13 positions, 2 Paddy's, plenty of tantrums!! Roll Eyes
