Perhaps it's just me but the constant 'Moooooooooooove' shout from the reff is annoying.
Why don't Sky just have the Ref's mic on when he is chastising a player or when a try is scored, and turn it off in general play
As you say GSF, it does become annoying

This was difficult for me as Manly are my favourite Aussie team and have been since Dale Shearer played for us. Normally I am pro GB but I have to admit I was rooting for Manly. Just goes to show how the Superleague's narrow minded view on expansion and teams made up of journeyman Aussies has ruined our game.

I'm sure it was Ganson, but recall the BBC doing something at Wilderspoo a few seasons ago and Briers (gob
spanglese
) was disputing a decision, he was effing and jeffing at the referee whilst he had his mic on. Funny as
galaxy

Over the years, some of the Aussie teams that have come over, don't seem to have given their all for the cause, but Manly were
really
up for it, and full credit to 'em for it.
But until the competition alternates annually between here, and Down-Under, the Aussies will always be playing "away" and if they lose, can use that as a part excuse.
A
real
neutral venue (like Dubai) has been suggested, but that would mean both teams upping sticks, and there'd be two lots of hotel fees, and airline tickets, which doesn't sound like good house-keeping to me.

Maybe have it like the pool table in the local............ winner stays on! Due to Manlys win then the game should be played down under until a British/French team win it over there.

Hang on, Leeds were champions last year, does that mean in 12 months we've all gone rubbish and the NRL clubs are all great? Manly were superb tonight but still only won the game by 8 points, I don't think thats a huge gap.
The score didn't reflect the class difference between the two teams. Leeds are a good SL team but the quality and weekly intensity of the NRL game is far beyond ours. It will beinteresting to see how Leeds will recover over the next few weeks. I think they got beat by Cas after last years game and looked jaded for a few weeks.

Also, if the refs are going to be mic'd up, why the hell do the commentators talk over what he is saying when he is talking to the players.
