I think the appointment of Darren Hayes is the right one for the Final.  In my experiences with both referees Darren shades it as the better ref.  He doesn't make bewildering decisions as many other refs do, and is certainly very fair.

Roll on a good game on Monday.....

ha contradiction in terms that, really is time the widnes cup was reffed by some decent refs from out of town. After the widnes refs refusing to supply touch judges its time to move on . lets be honest they are the only ones who get paid in all this,but yet see there word when they make a mistake i.e blowing up early. If they cant take stick then they shouldnt be doing it.
