Wath Brow were 12-2 down at half time as well, very good effort.

I didn't expect Thunder to put Haven out, considering so many people dismissed them as rubbish after we beat them convincingly.

A few dodgy results for Haven this season... out of the NRC and CC already.

I predicted that one too - a tough place to go and play for a team that I think is really going to struggle (again) this season. A great pity - I really want Skolars to do well.

We played Wath Brow last season, and they put everything into the first 40 minutes.

They led 14-0 at one point, and we were still astray (14-10 I think) at the interval.

But they visibly tired in the second half.

Looks like they've learned from that, as yesterday, they trailed 12-2 at oranges, but took the second period 12-0.

Must have been a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng journey back to the Smoke from West Cumbria!

We've got Skolars down there in the first league game, on Sunday week. Hope they don't take their revenge out on us!

Spelly.
