Kept Torres quiet for both Everton and England.
Been one of the best deffenders in the Prem this year IMO.

Cahill = £2.1M or so.
And such a great player....
I thought Cahill played midfield/up Front this year, never seen him play in defence

Because on set of fans gets to wtch Jagielka, Hibbert, Carsley and the like and another set of fans gets to watch Torres. Seeing as how you didn't answer the Jagielka or Torres straight swao question how about this one ..... Is there any Everton player that you would keep if offered Torres as a straight swap ?

Birmingham City get to watch him yer  Wink Wink

I don't like Torres personally (nothing to do with the fact he plays for the red spangles.) I think he is a spangles house. If you keep him under your belt he will do nothing and stay out of the game.
Also dives near enough as much as Ronaldo.

As a Liverpool fan that was my main worry about him. Was he gonna go missing after getting a kicking? I think, although he's only played 50 games for us, he has well and truly proven that he wont go missing. He's played sometimes when clearly not fit, and even last week at the theatre of spanglese he looked lost for 20 minutes, but often world class players do, and then quick as a flash he can change a game as he did do, has done and will continue to do. I dont think there's any doubt that he's the best striker in world football at the moment and anyone who says differently clearly doesn't know what they're talking about.

I think Everton fans are doing their own player a disservice. Jagielka is clearly a class player, a no-nonsense defender who I would like to see at Liverpool, ok, in that game Torres was nowhere near fit, but even so Jagielka defended against him brilliantly. I've said before, Moyes deserves a massive amount of credit, not only for making the likes of Cahill, Lescott and Jagielka compete amongst the best in the league, but for taking those gambles in the first place. All three were unproven at Premiership level, yet now they would get into most teams, the worry for Everton is trying to keep hold of them. Players like that (well, all players) want to play at the highest level they can.

I was gonna say that sometimes, like teams often have them, players often have bogey teams. Ian Rush took 12 years to score against Utd, and there was no doubting his class, same with Torres, only I seem to remember a few goals against Everton already which kinda blew my argument out of the water!  Shocked

Example?

At least when you make an argument back it up with something nearing on factual rather than throwing in stupid one liners.
