Signed!

PC has become anti-British lately! I'm all for cultural diversity etc but a nation needs to keep it's rules / Practices / law and pride!

Not trying to be PC on here but these threads really wind me up.. How long has good old St George been our patron Saint? Why now are we so worded about celebrating his day? Has anybody over the years/decades/centuries EVER told ANY of you that if you wanted to you could not celebrate his day?

And as for the tikka masala being indian meal despite being invented in Brum....Good old Georgie was an Arab...you know, those evil bounties our fellas are getting killed by now who you all feel so insulted about?

Done.............23rd April Wink

And my flags WILL BE flying

Also William Shakespeare was born and died on the 23rd April -- with 60 odd years in between.

It is also my wife's Birthday!

Why would I want to celebrate a Turkish knight?

Make Armistice Day or VE Day or something like that a national holiday - something real worth celebrating in which millions of people from all nationalities gave their lives for us. Don't celebrate something meaningless except in the context of ancient religious tradition forcing us to celebrate a Turkish sword-swinger.

Still, at least the DJ gets to be sanctimonous for a while.
