If you are not embarrassed by claiming £24,000 a year for your micky mouse second home - I suppose claiming money for your husband's adult films will be quite acceptable.

You are the worst Home Secretary ever.

Thank God you have only a majority of 2,700 and your days are numbered.

Well I personally think that long-suffering husbands of absentee female cabinet ministers are entitled to some measure of public financial support to help meet their needs in this area. The price of a new set of Debenhams' mens hankies has shot up recently.

The whole idea that they get 2nd home expenses is a joke.

A good PM would abolish it altogether and simply increase pay in line with standard 'London weighting'.

If only we could find one!

They have to take it completely out of their hands and tie it in with ''comparable'' grades in the Public Sector.
Their expense claims should be treated the same as ''comparable'' grades in the Public Sector as should their Pensions.

Im not a political person BUT all sides are at it. Just look at the MP who was paying his family for nothing!!!!!

However if you want to be padantic about it; its this Governments own fault for passing the Freedom of Information Act that everyone (on all sides) are getting caught with. Why do you think the opposition are rubbing their hands; they now can ask a hospital how many operations have been cancelled, ask how many people have been released into the community because of lack of evidence or even how many people are passing a science exam.........
They then use this as ammunition against the government; why do you think "Dave the Rave" wants to repeal it if he gets ini

There are several MP's in London living in their constituencies. Since getting elected they have bought houses in places like Margate and Southend. The houses in their constituencies are now second homes. All 3 have bought new blue curtains.

But why do they need second homes when they live in their constituencies?

I would abolish all expenses other than fares, increase the salaries to, say £100k a year, and pay the secretarial staff  on Civil Service rates.

People who can see no wrong with their idols do their own credability no justice.

Why cannot you for once in your life say something less than complimentary about the humiliated Jacqui smith

As for the new houses in Margate - Better than the Richard-head who chose to buy a caravan in Colchester - with red curtains.

I am not a fisherman, but I guessed you bite at the one!

Personally, I would have done my homework and found the Labour MP who is doing the same!
