Yes heaven forbid fans would be passionate about their club and want to speak highly of it.

I can't believe there isn't any truth in the argument that players would be put off a club like Salford who are a non-SL club in all but being awarded a franchise on the basis of geography. Widnes are a SL club in all but not being awarded a franchise on the basis of geography. I bet if someone was shown around both set ups without knowing the SL status and they had to guess which was the SL club then it would be us - shoot me down for sticking up for and being passionate about my club but I feel there is a valid point.

why do you reckon that? last time i looked salford are in super league and still in the challange cup and widnes are not.

Long Term? Will Salford always be in Super League and in the Challenge Cup?
