Hopefully there will be a photo of Franks testimonial, which I came across whilst scanning in some old B&W negatives. Judging from some of the shots of the match a 1975 team played a 1964 team.

What is great to see are all the former players from previous cup teams in the official photo. As I say I hope it is there and I have inserted it properly.

Would be interested in getting everyone identified.

Thanks to Leeds Viking for inserting the photo.

Looking at a blown up image and a few alternative angles here is my stab at the names of the players:

Standing Back Row LtoR: Harry Owen,?,?,?, John Foran,?,?, Alan Dearden, Mal Aspey, Ray Dutton (obscured but clear on another view), Doug Laughton, John Wood, Arthur Hughes, Ged Lowe, Frank Myler, Wally Hurstfield (I think behind Vince Karalius, havent got a clear view on any of the shots I took).

First Row Standing LtoR: ?, ?, ?, Jimmy O'Neil, ?, Keith Elwell, Reg Bowden, Dennis O'Neil, Reg's brother, Alan Ashton, ?, ?, Ray Owen, Tony Karalius, George Kemmel, Bobby Chisnall, Vince Karalius, Bob Randall, Edgar Bate.

Seated LtoR: ?, ?, ?, Harry Millington, ?, Frank Tobin, ?, Jimmy Hoey, ?, ?.

On Grass LtoR: Dipper Jones, Tommy Shannon.

Any offers from our longer serving board members as to those I have missed, or indeed any I have got wrong.

Thanks so much for posting this. Was the first game I went to, aged 5,  and I remember it being played in a fairly light hearted manner with a lot of messing about from both teams. Would Harry Dawson be in there somewhere?

I've had a look for the programme, but don't think I have it, but I may look through the following games programmes and see if there is anything about it?

Yes Harry was around and about, I will check my other shots to see if there is one with him in. There is certainly one of Ray French with ball in hand playing for the 1960's side

Thanks for reminding me of Reg's brother (too idle to look it up on the heritage site!)
