Robin park
Don valley stadium

Must be 2 of the 4?

No mate!

We've never played at Robin Park, and our first few visits across there, were all pre Don Valley!

Anybody else wanna have a go?

Owlerton Stadium must be one?

And I remember seeing Sheffield thrash Swinton at Old Trafford before we did the same to Hull. So I reckon that might be the other?

First time they were promoted to division one, they played all over - Barnsley, Wakefield, Chesterfield, Sheffield Wednesday & United grounds. So maybe one of those?

Owlerton is one, and they did beat us at OT ('89 I thnk) but we played 'em on soccer grounds both home and away, previous to that. On the away one, as a clue, they're now re-paying the favour!

So only one right so far!

Rotherham Football Club ?

Yep!

Well done mate!

We played 'em at Millmoor on a Friday night, on our way to winning the second division!

Right - The two home matches now, and my avatar's one of 'em!

Come on you mob, you're normally much quicker than this when I pose you questions!

Anyway, as I said, it's the two home venues I'm now after, and one is my avatar, so that should give it away. But for the other one......................

Maybe you shouldn't be "wandering" too far from Swinton!  Wink

Burnden Park?

Yep!

Night match, during a freeze-up, and we used the under-soil heating at Burnden. '85 at a guess!

So in our first four games, we played 'em at Owlerton, Millmoor, Burnden, and the Shrine!
