Good turn out tonight Kev?

With the Maries entering a side in the NCL Summer Competition, will that weaken the Saints side this year?

we had 19 training 2nite, only 3 of them are 1st team players- there are alot of last years under 18's playing and a few new faces, maybe with us entering a team in the ncl summer comp it could weaken the Saints as this takes priority- but we do have a strong 2nd team and 18's- and hopefully a few more new faces?Huh?

The NCL are trialling a Summer Competition ACE, trying out the concept of a full switch to summer rugby for the NCL.

St Maries are one of half a dozen or so teams signed up to give it a try.

Widnes Saints train 6.30pm Thursdays.
Widnes St Maries NCL Summer will start training after the lads have had a break. Around mid May.
I will post it on here.
