Whitehaven forward Taani Lavulavu has quit the club after being targeted for personal abuse by a section of the club's fans.

Come on Sunny, We have seen enough on our board and at matches(mainly away ones)  to know this isnt always necessarily true  Wink

the guy wasnt fit and as a result only managed ten minute spells and when he was on
his tired tackling gave away more penalties and ended with him being red carded and banned
but whenever he played against us at workinton he was a very destructive prop. If that guy had turned up
he would have been a crowd favourite
that said no-one deserves the personal abuse he and ged took from some so-called supporters and i wish him well in whatever
he does next

Sounds like a bit of an excuse to me, if everything else had been fine I don't think he would have gone home. Maybe being called a 'bogbrush' is much more insulting in New Zealand, Matt King got a lot worse than that at Wire.
