I did start to read, albeit briefly and seen that the "Spirit of '55" signed it.

Now the spanglese accuse US of living in the past. Well that made me chuckle.

While it's always fun to laugh at the Wire, the actual content of the letter is excellent.  The same duty and committment the writer speaks about could equally be applied to players from our team too.  I'm afraid the era we live in now means that playing for a team really is just a job for most players, the desire that came with playing for the side you grew up supporting just isn't in the game anymore.
