Looking at the 'dashed' 30m line... this must be the shortest pitch in the league, can't be more than 90m long

After 60 mins: Gateshead 35 - 30 Sheffield
Cracking match to watch as a neutral... the defending would be killing you as a fan of either side.

A cracking game, very entertaining. And fair play to our favourite referee Mr Child, he has certainly improved.

Nice and compact for the catering staff - you would only need one flask to supply the whole of the 'crowd'. Probaly went home in the same min-bus!

Must have been about 400 in the bar then, decent game to watch though, one thing that I did notice was the ref penalising Sheffield for not playing the ball correctly, yet both teams played it exactly the same way numerous times and it was play on

Sheffield player had the ball clearly stripped with the line begging and the ref stood right in front of him. Ref adjudged to be a knock on.

I agree on that Huggybear defo a strip from the guy tackling from the sheffield players right hand side and 2 man tackle to pen in front of the posts. I think if Sheffield would have scored then they would have won the game IMO. They had the thunder rocking at that point.

Ropati is a bit of a liability at times - runs out of the line, as he did against us and should have been suckered for it!
