How on earth can you have a starting 13 without Yacca in at fullback.   He has proved in the last few games that he can be a rock behind the weak pack.   He can kick goals from anywhere on the park and is the best player we have got at baccking up a player making a break or looking to off-load the ball.   I wouldn't mind betting that over 40 metres he is as fast as any player we have got.   On current form the best Wildbore an expect is on the bench.

Yacca is great in attack but his defence is not the best, as a package wildbore is our best fullback.

Did any of the folk who want to drop Doran go to Doncaster?

Good point MT. I was, like a lot of people not that impressed with Doran but at the Doncaster game he was one of our best players!

Says in todays League Express we could have 5 players back for Sheffield.  Bannister played the full 80mins for the reserves against Keighly and scored twice, Patterson had 2 20 min spells and also scored.  Says Duffy, Fletcher and Kohe-Love could all be back as well.

Yates plays for me but for the moment primarily becuase of his attacking not his defence.
Also he has great potential and he is only going to realise that by playig week in week out.
For the moment Widbore is more solid.
Both make the 17 for me. Wildbore looks a decent player.

Wildbore is more reliable under a high ball and if he just passed the ball a bit more when he has the chance would be even better. Yacca on the other hand plays with more passion and pride and with a bit more experience and confidence I think he has the makings of a star for the future. If it's true that we have more players back from injury I think things will start to come together a lot more.

No. But then - I didn't say I wanted to drop him, just frustrated by his perfomances this season that I have seen.
