Im not arguing in favour of Paul Cullen, just that Ste Mc was a failure as a Widnes coach. From my memory we won 0% of finals with any meaning whilst Ste Mc was here. Whereas NK needed four months and 1 final. When it comes down to it, our team of 2007 was a very very good team, the best team in the division in my opinion, but Mac failed and should never ever have been brought back by SOC. At the fans night when SOC took over, that room at the stadium was packed and I was completely baffled by the cheers and standing ovation that greeted Ste Mc. I started booing, cos I knew that it was a mistake. I dont have blind faith and I'm not one of these beauts who'll just sit by and stay silent when the spanglese has hit the fan and think "oh, he's a nice bloke". You're talking complete and utter plums. Ste Mc failed first time, it was inevitable that he would fail again, and again. Many many people on this board knew that bringing him back was a mistake, but I seem to remember people giving him benefit of the doubt. In the end there was no doubt, anyone with an ounce of RL knowledge would be able to see that.

What I'd like to know is who is feeding SOC the information??
No we weren't. Cas were. We deluded ourselves by that early season victory.
