Under 12's

Halton 22 Copeland & Eden 10

Tries for Halton from Konnagh Hill, Danny Richardson, Liam Smith, Alex Smith and Sheldon Johnson.

Tough first outing and all credit to Copeland who made it very difficult with some tough tackling.

Brilliant performance by the U12's. I was extremely impressed. Their fitness was amazing considering they were playing against a typically enormous side from Cumbria. The tackling technique was brilliant and they also shipped the ball wide very impressively.

Keep up the good work.

U15's

Copeland 12
Halton     16

Tries: Sheridan, Wright, Wainwright
Goals: Gilmore 2

Last minute try by Halton gave them the win but after dominating territory and possession they conspired to almost throw it away

U14's

Copeland  6
Halton    28

In appalling conditions, strong wind and a downpour in the second half, Halton won this game based on their 1st half display when they took a 24-0 lead into the break, playing some great attacking rugby.  The conditions ensured the 2nd half was strewn with errors but the home side rallied and stemmed the first half onslaught from Halton.
