All credit to him in this era of wholesale squad changes, from season to season, administration etc. 100 games for the same club is quite an achievement. He may exasperate but he does give his all, and on his day can be quite brilliant

He's clearly just gone under the radar every year!

As has been said 100% enthusiasm, not always properly directed but there nonetheless.  Some 'better' players could do with borrowing some!

Not only has Gavin passed that appearance milestone for Widnes, but his try at Leigh
took him to a career total of 601 points in 240 games. I think that shows an admirable level
of consistency for both Oldham and Widnes.

We only have to be reminded of Doddy's 80 metre solo effort against Dewsbury last season to know what he's capable of and how committed he is. Error prone at times but on form a devastating player in this league. Well done Gavin, you're an example to the rest of the team.

Congrats Doddy.

He's a bit like Jamie Bloem in my book. One minute has a brain explosion and does something daft, then scores a classy try................
