It's the kind of game that Widnes usually get blown away in.

 Cheesy

Remember London Broncos in South Wales anyone? Or any NL1 GF?

Just as a counter measure Richard - Blackpool in 07. We can turn it on in big games if we start with the correct mentality.

You are correct that in the GF's of 06 and 07 , we started both games with no intensity or passion in our bellies. Cullen wont do a Ste Mc and send out a team to start like a damp squid. If we can defend with the aggression that we showed in the first half against Fev then we might spring a surprise.

8-1 to win the cup outright at the moment , not bad odds in a four hourse race.

Well it’s the day of the big match; cant wait for the game, the atmosphere is going to be electric.
Let’s make this a day to remember and give the lads the best support possible. The team will be very shocked to see us all at the shay.
REMEMBER WIN LOOSE OR DRAW BE PROUD TO BE A VIKING. Have a nice day out and a Widnes victory fingers crossed.

Happy fathers day.

Think 25-1 is to top the league table at the end of the regular season and not to win the GF . They dont have prices for the Championship GF . Would imagine we would be around 8 to 10 /1 third or fourth favourites behind Fax and Barrow alongside  Toulouse on current form to win the GF .

25-1 isnt very good odds considering we've lost 6 league games and Fax only 1 with around 9 games to go .
