He's basically Leighs version of Scott Yates  so wouldn't we be better sticking with Yacca? Guess Mort be on better money etc etc.

Because we played poop. But whereas we seem to have got better, they have got worse.

He is getting games a leigh, infact he's took the full back spot off donlan who's been playing wing and stand off

That's more based on other gaps though tbf! As mentioned he's going so Donalan can stay and play FB!

With Lee Marsh not playing (for obvious reasons) and that Ozzy lad still trying to work out where Leigh is they have no 6 so Donlan was simply asked to play there! Also when wingers short they feel best 'players' include Mort so Donlan again fills the gap!

I actually think he's a decent player but I can't believe we would want to sign him when we have Dodd and Yates and doubtless a couple of lads coming through the academy. Earlier in that thread, Mort allegedly says he isn't going anywhere.

I do not think we need to panic and get a full back yet.Ian preece is a decent full back at batley or could we get shad royston from fax.Seriously i like yates and dodd so no rush yet.Yates needs improve his catching of the high ball and some more experience he will do good.

News is Royston heading home (Oz) end of year, Fax where also after Mort so it seems! Coaches muct see a lot in him we have yet too!

Leigh will stay up although their chances of making the six seem non existant at this time

Dodd is the best of that bunch, but he is only OK but not really a full back

Hardman had a fine game for Fev on Sat, never put a foot wrong at full-back, far better option than Mort, nothing against him though, just talking ability here, plus Mort wouldn't get a game purely on kicking alone, others can do that job.
