Moorfield Angels Champion of Champion Final!

We did it! at our final festival of the season we beat our local rivals Warrington 32 - 16 and also beat a Leigh/ Chorley team 24-18, The girls finished the season off with confidence and did a professional job on Warrington, the final is on the 4th July awaiting venue from RFL.

Thanks to everyone connected for their support throught the season and a thanks to Trust in Widnes for sponsoring the home festival. We now have a dozen girls in training to start in September for the under 12s which stemmed from the taster day we did, training will continue through the summer, every tuesday from 6.30 till 7.30 for the under 12s and 7.15 till 8.30 for the under 14s & 16s.

The final is at Thatto Heath and will feature two yorkshire teams, moorfield and warrington, anyone fancies coming along, your support will be appreciated.

This Saturday. The Girls have to be there for 11am, not sure what the Kick off times are.

It is a big event with up to 250 people attending abd 20 VIP's, the league winners will be crowned champs in 3 age groups, u12s, u14s, u16s, matches include teams from yorkshire, warrington, angels halton wags u12s,  expected to finish around 4.30.

The Moorfield Angels received our trophy and medals for winning the league on Saturday, thanks to all who have helped during this season, well done girls.
