Was a great night and great atmosphere - good to see some seriously bad dancin too by some of the players!!  So many players past and present there which certainly added to the occassion!  Big well done for Robbo too for his summary of the season, thanks to coaches etc and presentin awards!!

Plenty of awards given out - for Rob Shone, Robbo, committee and of course players! All players who have played representative rugby for GB also received a replica cap.
1st team Player's Player, Coaches Player and Player of the Year was Gary Middlehurst which was thoroughly deserved!!

I Believe Gary Middlehurst has since signed on for Leigh East ARLFC, if this is true they got a great signing there as he is a top class player in any league.

Be a big loss to Simmies but with the likes of Capewell, P.Hunt, Neil Percival or Dave Jones ready to potentially step in and make the number 13 jersey there own, all quality players in there own right, should be a void quickly filled.

Best of luck up there Gazza, i'm sure all at Simmies are disappointed but wish you all the best, good luck.
