Halton Service Area Under 18's Trial

Halton Service Area is holding a trial to select an Under 18’s side on Monday 17th August, at 6pm. The trial will be held at Wilmere Lane Sports Ground. The side will compete in the RFL North West U18’s Service Area Festival on Saturday 26th September 2009, at Hopwood Hall in Rochdale. If successful in this competition the team will progress through to the National Carnival stage which will take place on 17th October 2009. This competition will contribute to the selection process for the Great Britain Community Lions U18’s.

 
Could you please pass on this information to any players within your club who are currently playing U17/U18’s or who are involved in your open age setup but still qualify for U18’s.

There will be a final trial held on Monday 24th August at Wilmere Lane Sports Ground, at 6pm. All eligible players are encouraged to attend as this is great opportunity to achieve representative honours.

This competition does not clash with regular club fixtures as all teams will have a free week to accomodate the festival.
