Thinking of playing some Amateur RL yourself, or maybe you've got a youngster keen on trying the game?

Halton has some great Amateur sides, playing at various levels, and all age groups from Under 7's to Over 35's; one thing that unites them all is that without fail they are all welcoming to anyone with an interest in the game.

For those of you that may live a little further afield, the greatest game is becoming more and more popular with local sides popping up in areas more traditionally associated with Rugby Union or Football.

If a representative from any amateur side would like to post a brief introduction to their club on this thread, we'll keep it as a 'sticky' at the top of this forum as a good reference point for anyone looking to get involved.

Great idea, i'll get the ball rolling.

Club website with all info on can be found here www.hfharlfc.ik.com

Halton Farnworth Hornets have teams in the following age groups Under 7's, 8's, 9's, 10's, 11's, 12's, 13's, 16's, 17's and Open Age

For a brief history of the club, please follow this link http://www.hfharlfc.ik.com/p_HistoryOfFarnworth.ikml which highlights the success of the club.

Winter training is about to start indoors at Bankfield's sport hall / gym, I will add times / days for the various teams if requested.

HFH is a `Clubmark` and `Club Halton` accredited club and continue to add value to the club by investing in its people, if you have a look at the news section of the website it shows the amount of courses and workshops made available for the staff and volunteers.

Any further info. please PM me.

If anyone is looking for a club to play for then we at Moorfield would be more than pleased to have you. Weve got loads of injuries and lads who cant play for various reasons and are badly in need of players. Weve held our own against some of the top premier sides this year without being anywhere near full strength once and the potential as a club is massive. First class set up and a really good family club so anyone interested please contact me on 07899046352.
