Glen Tilbrook of Squeeze at the Citadel Saints 27.11.09. Tilbrook is an amazing guitarist. Saw him at the Queens Hall a good few years ago. No gimmicks, no backing singers, just him and an acoustic. Top drawer. Possibly also seeing Yes at the Manc Appollo(if the ticket materialises)next Sun. Believe John Anderson is not on vocals so that would be a bit of a let-down. But it's a gig so give it a whirl.

I rember as they started playing as leeds come out of the tunnel. Suggs seem to think the huge cheer was for the opening chords of a song. Southerners just dont get us rugby folk Great live band none the less

Yes have the singer out of a yes tribute band. Anderson was alegadly ill when they did the dirty on him. Anderson played liverpool a few weeks back to rave reviews so his voice cant be at fault

I have just seen Finntroll at Manchester Moho - Great gig. My next is Amon Amarth at Manchester Academy 2 on the 31st, then Motorhead at the Apollo, and the legendary Ronnie James Dio at Manchester Academy in November.

Saw Maximo Park at the Apollo two weeks ago. Great night, must see them again in a year or two. I wish I would of known they was playing Thats my 18th, I'd love to go that. Are there any tickets left? Touts outside are the best bet for standing. Great live band though, I've seen them twice and would reccomend them to fans. Would have gone myself only to have tickets for the Flaming Lips on the same night.

Funnily enough they're playing in my car at the moment. Saw Squeeze at Ardwick Apollo in 1981, when they were the 'new Kinks' (remember?), just before they started going dreary... What ever happened to that weirdo keyboard player of theirs?
