And with PC coaching him there could be a great player. Some criticised Offiah for his defence, but his handling was superb, and to understate it, he was quite fast!  Penny is a young man and will improve.

Look how Flynn improved in the latter part of the season under Cullen. With Penny and Flynn on the wings, they would be the fastest pairing in our league both capable of straight line speed and making ground in broken play; both are enthusiastic players with plenty of team spirit.

Don't know how dual signings work so don't know if we could afford Penny, but if he did come Gaskell would possibly then be surplus to requirements as Yates (if not at full back) would be an adequate back up for them.

I think even though mcgilvray was 3rd or 4th top tryscorer in the league last year, if you look at the amount of tries penny scored, and the amount of games played, if penny would have been with us all year, he would have scored more than mcgilvray.
