I want to know how decided the play the France v Aussies game in Paris!
What a very poor crowd. If that was in the south of France I'm sure 1000's would have turned up.

The RFL really are a joke  Embarrassed Angry

I don't think it's up to the RFL it's up to the French and their is some politcal support over there for a SL Franchise in Paris.
They are actually campaigning in the future for 3 Clubs or more.
Tolouse and Paris are the front runners which is why the Tolouse president went out of his way to poo poo the Paris Option at the weekend.

Because the Paris team maybe about to rise from the ashes as the family owners of that Stadium (I think or defo a Paris stadium)are rumoured to be interested in funding a SL team to play in a newly built 30-40,000 seater stadium. Therefore I guess the RFL will lick who evers bottom is necessary to make this happen as the RFL would not have to fund it as they do CC, Catalan, Toulouse and maybe Harlequins. Not funding it but still expanding the game.  Tongue Undecided

I think the idea is for them initially to play at Charlety Stadium and share the ground with a Rugby Union Club.
The guy who owns the stadium has links to Bernard Laporte the French Sports Minister and ex French RU Coach.
The Tolouse President amongst other things said Tolouse is the heart of rench Rugby both Union and League.
Charlety is where PSG RL played during their two years in SL.

And now is it not time for these teams to play in France all of the time.  CC and Quins not excluded, either.

It does when at home. If you are talking about CC then Australia is home!

I think the focus of most of the posts is that the RFL should expand in England rather than France and Wales, where RU is played more than RL.
