I was just woundering, does anyone know any local kayaking clubs. I've looked on google and cant seem to find anything close to widnes

Every site ive seen is just Canoeing and not Kayaking

why not contact the canoeing sites they may also do kayaking or be able to point you in the right direction.

What's the difference between a canoe and a kayak arn't they both unstable things you have to paddle.

Try contacting Pyranha in preston brook,runcorn.They are a manufacturer of canoes and kayacks.They would know the local clubs.

There are some Kayaky/Canoey things up on the wall in the swimming pool at the leisure centre. Why not give them a call and see what that's all about.

TBH though, if I saw a kayak floating in the baths, I'd be out of there like a shot Shocked!!!

Ah memories of the old baths craigie when that was a daily occurance, but there was too many floaters for my liking

Runcorn Rowing club also have a kayaking club, myself and some work colleagues went on a 6 wk course (sat morn 2hrs) for the bargain price of £12 for the 6 sessions!! Instructor was great - his contact email is  stephen.marnell@virgin.net, have fun!
