Bobby Chisnall, Dipper Jones, and Bob Roberts.
Never internationals, but always gave you incidents to remember.

Dennis Brown----Used to let the attacker pass him then tackle him from behind, blessed with pace was the first player i used to look for on the team sheet. he used to miss some games bue to him being in the forces, marines if my memory serves me right.
Barry Sherridan----Always gave his all and a decieving player, remember alot of fans would shout dead ball when Barry recieved it, then he would produce an off load. Never realised that he was really a big guy till i watched a reply of the 75 final the other week,he actually was not far off winning the lance tod in that game

Your having a laugh are'nt you, Mick George was a top centre and hard as nails , ask,was it Redfearn the Bratford centre who Mick used to knock spanglese out of every time they faced each other and always come out on top. Ive been lucky to watch many Widnes players and if they were in the team thats good enough for me

But never an international, and I think that is what the topic is about.

Jason Green. Pace to burn but never the greatest.
Remember a challenge cup game up at Barrow Border Raiders I think, it was in the early 90's, bucketing it down with rain so went in the pub as a youthful 15 year old where Jason Green proceeded to buy me and my mate beer all afternoon!

Trevor Stockley
i alway thought he was a great entertainer, every time he came on he would wind up the oppostion something rotten and it usually would end up a bit of fisticuffs.
